What does a great company look for when hiring a great candidate?
A Bloomberg article mentioned THREE characteristics that you would do well to pay attention to. Over a decade ago, when Microsoft was looking for a new CEO, its board of directors settled on a candidate who had three characteristics: “Smart, gets sh-t done, doesn’t piss off other people.”
According to that Bloomberg article, it was Satya Nadella’s humility and collaborative approach that were most appealing.
